1. Show that 3 is a zero of multiplicity two of the polynomial P(x)= 2x^4-11x^3+11x^2+15x-9

I know that I have to prove that (x-3)^2 is a factor of the polynomial, but please show me how.

You could try dividing by (x-3), then showing that 3 is a factor of the resulting polynomial by factor thm
