Im allergic to all the statins, and need something because I have the genetic family cholesterol.

have you tried the fish oil or Niacin? I have trouble witj the cholesterol meds as well, however, I can tolerate the fish oil quite nicely. not too sure about the Niacin, my uncle uses it, but my aunt is allergic to it, so I haven't given it a go yet.  My family tends to have very, and I mean very, low good cholesterol and hi bad cholesterol.  My mother uses the fish oil too which helps her as well.
