If the customer has a coupon for the product, the coupon amount is discounted from the product price. If the product is a food item and the customer has purchased more than five items of that product type, then the bulk rate percentage is applied to the product price. However, in order for the bulk-rate percentage to be applied to a non-food item, the customer must have purchased more than ten of the items of that type.
