The steam entering the turbine in a coal-burning power plant is heated to 530°C. The steam is cooled and condensed to water at 60°C. Use the following formula to find the ideal efficiency of the power plant. Remember that you must convert Celsius temperatures to degrees Kelvin before using the formula.
efficiency = (Tin - Tex) / Tin
