The dosage depends on you and your out breaks. It's typically between 500mg and 1000 one tablet take 1-2 times daily. Valtrex is totally safe to take during pregnancy no matter what the dose. It's often prescribed to mothers during the last few weeks of their pregnancy to prevent out breaks so the mother can have a natural birth with less risk to the baby.
