hi, im doing a biology project on vesicles and one of the main points is how the vesicle and another organelle in the cell are dependent on each other? so far i have "the rough endoplasmic reticulum depends on the vesicle for food transportation" now im stuck with, how the vesicle depends on the ER. any ideas? thanks! i appreciate it! =]

The vesicle is dependent upon the ER because vesicles may come from the ER.  There are several different types of vesicles, which can be found here (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vesicle_(biology)#Types_of_vesicles).

The vesicle is how the lipids and proteins are "packaged" in and sent in and out of the cell. The ER depends on the vesicles to hold the lipids and proteins in to keep them safe to make it out of the cell and the vesicles are only used for ER's transportive purposes. SO they are both dependant on each other.
Make sense? I mean there is more to it than that but gets more complex...
