In defense of the general lack of political knowledge by the citizenry, scholars remind us that
A) a single citizen has almost no chance of determining the outcome of an election.
B) all votes are important because some elections have been won by only a few votes.
C) voters cannot make intelligent choices because they do not have adequate levels of information.
D) elections should be decided on the basis of issues and not personality or party loyalty.
