Lawmakers generally try to get on committees
A) that will help them serve their constituents.
B) dealing with subjects that do not affect their constituents so there will not be a conflict of interest.
C) that won't make it look like they are just using their committee assignment to help them get reelected.
D) where work loads are the easiest.
