The answer is (f) all these and more. Not all general anaesthetics work in the same way, but for practical purposes you can assume the entire brain is damped. Note that EEG activity, which is a measure of cortical activity (an area not on your list), is reduced by all general anaesthetics except ketamine.

They are probably looking for reticular formation. Actually, anesthesia suppresses ALL brain activity. Poor question by someone who does not understand anesthesia.
