Write an equation of a line in slope intercept form that is perpendicular to the line 2x -3y = 12 and passes through the point (2, 6).

2x -3y = 12 slope is 2/3
Required slope = -3/2
y-6 = (-3/2)(x-2)
2y-12 = -3x+6
2y = -3x+18
y = (-3/2)x + 9
