Y^1 - Y^2 over X^1- X^2 then this will become your slope
Then you should be use to this formula y=m(x)+b.
M is where your slope will go through. then you pick one of the points to find out what b is.

I hope this made a little sense.

first let the equation be y=mx+b (that is the slope intercept form)

sub coordinates of the 2 points into this equation, and get 2 equations concerning m and b.
7=m.0+b, 9=m.1+b
Solve simultaneously, and get b=7, m=2.

Sub into the slop intercept form equation and get the answer
y=2x+7
