The density of a substance is defined as mass/volume. A cube of an alloy is 2ft on a side. If the density is 240lbs/ft cubed. What is the mass or weight of the cube?

You got 2ft. And we have three dimensions so 2x2x2=8ft^3;
Now you got the volume.

240= mass/volume = mass/8=>
240*8=mass=1920lbs
