Monitor prothrombin times labs because both drugs together can increase the anticoagulant effect. Thus spontaneous bleeding will occur. Should also monitor for hemituria or fecal occult blood  or any abnormal bleeding.

in agreement with babieb796... PT/INR and I would add Uric acid levels also to make sure you have a therapeutic level of zyloprim
