Why would an endotracheal tube that is inserted too deeply tend to go into the right mainstem bronchus instead of the left?
A) You are using an endotracheal tube that is too long.
B) The right mainstem bronchus is more angled while the left is straighter.
C) Both mainstem bronchi angle the same, it’s just the patient is on their right side during intubation.
D) The right mainstem bronchus is straighter while the left is more angled.
