Gulf War Illness (GWI) is the name of a combination of symptoms experienced by veterans of the Gulf War in the early 1990s. For undetermined causes, some veterans have lesions, or damage, to the prefrontal cortex of the cerebrum. Predict what higher mental functions may be affected when the prefrontal cortex is damaged.
