Here is the question:

While actually a form of RNA polymerase, this enzyme lays down the initial nucleotides to set up a condition where DNA polymerase can then take over for replication

I'm not sure what the answer is... I thought it was primerase, but that was incorrect.

I think it's RNA primase too, because DNA pol needs something to bind to in order to start replication, but topoisomerase is what unwinds DNA further downfield to prevent supercoiling.
