What do you think would happen to the net primary productivity of an aquatic ecosystem if
a) the amount of dissolved oxygen was significantly reduced
b) the amount of dissolved carbon dioxide was significantly reduced
why?

A) Goes up. The less oxygen in the water, the easier it is for a plant (primary productivity) to get carbon dioxide for photosynthesis.
B) Goes down. The less carbon dioxide in the water, the harder it is for a plant to get carbon dioxide for photosynthesis.
