The following was true about the Battle of Bunker Hill EXCEPT
A) It was a British military victory, but at a high cost of dead and wounded British army soldiers.
B) The battle was actually fought at Breed's Hill in Charlestown.
C) The patriots' militia was well-organized, well-supplied, and heavily supported by most of the other colonies.
D) After the battle, the American forces became better organized, better supplied, and gained support from all 13 colonies.
