What is the difference between a "Gravity Fence" lock and a "Direct-Entry" lock on a safe?  Or is there somewhere that would have a picture of the workings of a Baum Gravity fence type lock from an old 1910 Baum Safe?

A gravity fence lock uses gravity to pull the lever down into the wheel pack.  A gravity fence lock is a type of a direct entry lock.  Most Sentry safes sold today have direct entry locks, but they do not rely on gravity.  As far as pictures, you could google it, but the reality is all gravity fence locks are pretty much the same, and are opened in pretty much the same way.  These are quite easy to open without any damage to the lock or the safe.  You could have a nice safe for future use.
