The hour hand of a clock is 4 inches long while the minute hand is 5 inches long.  At some time between 1:15 PM and 1:30 PM the tips of the hands are 8 inches apart.  What time is it then? (To the nearest second).

Initially to solve the problem I drew a triangle on a clock with a=5, b=4, and c=8.  Then I used the Law of Cosines to solve for angle C, which was approximately 54.90 degrees.  Now I am stuck!
