You can't prove the opposite unless you have a definite answer to what the opposite of a robot is? A robot is defined as a computerized system with a motorized construction (usually an arm) capable of interacting with the environment. Humans around us don't a motor to opperate.

What's your outlook on it anyway, really hard to answer this without getting into specifics.

Well, obviously, robots doesn't refer to: http://24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_llvdpfrnm51qcu4t1o1_400.png

I think the thing I had in mind was something like: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solipsism
(but restricted mainly to the mind, if it exists or not. If a person doesn't have mind, he is a robot.)

Here's the reason why I like this site, you learn something new everyday.

In philosophy, an extreme form of subjective idealism that denies that the human mind has any valid ground for believing in the existence of anything but itself.

This crazy definition is enough to make me go insane Nerd Face

When I say "robot" I mean something that acts not based to his own will, but only based to the environment. Something that doesn't "feel". The sense of "feeling" they have is a respond to the environment factors. The "robot" has no mind.

Of course, if human being (and every living thing) were robots, they would be very complicated robots. Their acts would depend to so many factors of their environment, that practically it would be impossible to predict or explain all their actions.

Well, if I ask someone this question without explaining, it would sound a bit strange.
