1,2 -- The teaching plan for the patient with acne should include expose the skin to sunlight, but avoid sunburn; shampoo the hair often enough to prevent oiliness; eat a regular, well-balanced diet as foods do not cause or increase acne; wash the skin with a mild soap and water at least twice a day; get regular exercise and sleep; avoid putting hands on the face; and do not squeeze a pimple.
Don't forget to give me a thumbs up!
