Genetic cloning is used to make duplicates of genetic matirals.  Genetic engineering is used to go in and change something at the genetic level.  Advantage, cures for many types of health and physical related issues.  Disadvantages, the companies which own the technologies will charge exorbinate amounts for its usage, well above the cost of developing the technology, and will only be avalible to those who can afford it, and everyone else will just be ignored by actual cures and have to go on using the less costly long term treatments without a chance of a cure.

Genetic cloning is making a clone/duplicate of an organism by replicating the exact genetic characteristic of that certain organism. Genetic Engineering meanwhile is the study and application of genetics for a better life/future.

Cloning is one branch of genetic engineering.
Advantage/s of genetic engineering?
-thorough research could lead to cures to many diseases and could lengthen the lifespan of humans.
-could also help give humans a healthier future (literally. less sickness, better health!)

Disadvantage:
-mostly it offends moral issues because researching requires tinkering with animals and humans. Researchers in this field should use humans as guinea pigs (experimental objects) which is quite morally wrong if viewed in a religious perspective.
