1.) a client is admitted to the hospital with weakness in his legs, double vision, tingling arms and difficult speaking. he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and told that the disease was due to the degeneration of the myelin sheath. the loss of the myelin sheath would cause these symptoms because with out the sheath what specific things happen to the axons ability to perform???


2.) neuron A has several hundred axon terminals(knobs) synapsing with it. the majority of theses synaptic terminals are shown to be "firing" however neuron A does not transmit an action potential. give a valid explanation of why this could occur???
