Hi there,

Are you considering taking it? It's an ordinary biology course that goes in depth of biological processes. Your tests cover more concepts, but are usually in multiple choice.

Be a little more specific in your question.

When I took AP Biology in my high school the course was essentially grades 11, 12 and most of first year university biology crammed into a 2 year course. We learned about the human systems, basics of genetics, cell, vascular and nonvascular plants, invertebrates, vertebrates, ecology etc. I found it was helpful for when I took biology courses in university, and it's always nice to be able to use the AP credit if you score high enough on the exam. For the study guide I used Barron's, can't remember if it was really that helpful but it was good enough to get me a 5.
