An astronaut and a satellite are in an environment where no net external forces act on them. The astronaut tugs on the satellite with a force of 9.5 N in positive x-direction. What is the x-component of the force exerted by the satellite on the astronaut? convert answer to SI units.

For every force is an equal/opposite reaction. If the astronaut tugs with 9.5N (in the x), the satellite will exert a -9.5N tug in the x direction. The (-) negative sign means it is opposite the (+) positive 9.5N the astronaut exerts
