A.) Water is broken into H+, and electrons are released; O2 is a by-product.
b.) ATP is synthesized using the energy from the electron transport chain.
      c.)  NADP+ gains 2 electrons and a H+ to form NADPH.
My guess is b but I'm really not sure.

2.) Which process is not involved in the formation of ATP in the electron transport chain during cellular respiration?
a.) Active transport is required to move H+ ions across the plasma membrane through the ATP synthase protein.

b.)ATP synthase provides a channel that allows charged ions to cross the plasma membrane to reestablish equilibrium.

c.)Chemiosmosis is used to phosphorylate ATP from ADP + P.

d.)H+ ions move with the concentration gradient through the ATP synthase.

e.)The energy from electrons is used to pump H+ against the concentration gradient.
My answer is e. Am i correct?
