Please help me, Im not sure how to get the right answer

Cobalt-60 decays to nickel-60 via 
 with a half-life of 5.27 years. A pure sample of cobalt-60 is prepared, with
no contamination of other isotopes. After 5.27 years, what is the ratio of cobalt-60 to nickel-60 in the sample?

t = ln(2) / k

sub 5.27 into your t to find your k value.

i.e.

ln(2) / 5.27 = k constant.

Now use that in y = a e ^kt, leave ''a'' as it is.
