What volume of hydrogen gas is obtained when 23.00 g of zinc metal reacts with an excess of dilute sulfuric acid at STP?

ALWAYS go through moles.

You can solve for volume of gas if you have P and T, if you know moles.

Use no. moles x molar mass = total mass to find moles Zn

Use the equation to infer moles H2

Use PV = nRT, or whatever other method you have been taught, to deduce volume H2

Collect A on test

Go over the problem to make sure you understand why what I've told you works

Collect A on course.
