I would like to invest, and think dividend stocks are what I want to invest in. I am very new to this, and would just like some help. Thanks.

Look up companies you might like to own and compare them against each other. Utilities pay dividends and many other companies. Look at other things to like the P/E ratio that is the price divided by the income. So if a share is selling for $100 and has a earning of $8 you would have a PE of 8. If they are giving a dividend of $2 a year or .50 a quarter you would have a dividend yield of 2%.

PGH or PWE stocks pay large monthly dividends,.
Look them up on Google or Yahoo finance pages. Then get a broker & buy.
