I got as far as using the quotient rule then using the chain rule to expand out but then do i just leave it there?
(-2cosxsinx)/(cos^2x)^2                  <--thats how far i got

Use chain rule,
(sec^2x)' = 2(secx) (secx tanx) = 2sec^2x tanx

you mean... (sec x )^2? if it is then....
