1 -- The patient might experience discomfort for 1-2 days after the procedure. Strenuous activity is avoided only for about four hours. Since the patient must restrict activity for a short period after the procedure, the patient cannot immediately return to his previous activity level. Names of sexual contacts will have no bearing on the prostate biopsy.
