QUESTION: If a person blood pressure is 120/80 and has a mean arterial blood pressure of 90. which is the best explantion for why the mean arterial blood pressure is 90 mm Hg, and not the average of the two pressures (100 mm Hg)?


a] the systolic blood pressure is higher than the diastolic blood pressure

The first number, 120 is always usually going to be the highest number, right beside 80.  If it isn't... then you have a code on your hands quite possibly...

(no medical classes whatsoever, just my dumb thoughts lol, as you can see)
