MAP = (CO x SVR) + CVP

    * CO is cardiac output (CO is defined as stroke volume, the amount of blood pumped out in a single beat, times heart rate-- CO = SV x HR)
     *MAP is mean arterial pressure
    * SVR is systemic vascular resistance
    * CVP is central venous pressure

Or, different equation, same answer:     MAP = DP + (1/3)PP

Where DP is diastolic pressure and PP is pulse pressure. (Systolic minus Diastolic)
