based on my experience the fetus is not viable. I went into preterm labor at 23 weeks, and my doctors were already preparing me for the worst.

A fetus is ''most'' viable in when in the womb, but it doesn't mean it's not viable outside the womb.

Viable, as in, when can it survive without its food source? It's at birth, 9 months after conception. That's what has worked for all homo sapiens, otherwise it wouldn't have been 9 months. All those women who brought about babies 9 months after conception were selected for by nature. But does this mean we shouldn't consider a fetus a human being - NO. They still are humans because they have 46 chromosomes, unique DNA apart from their mother and father!
