Joules are a measurement of energy, not of length.  Are you sure that's what the question is asking?

The energy of a photon of a specific wavelength can be calculated by multiplying planck's constant times the speed of light divided by the wavelength. E=h*c/lambda

Taking care with units, you can calculate this such that E is in joules.
