1,3,4,5 -- The use of tampons is allowed. Patients using tampons must remember to change them regularly. Wearing pads at night will ensure the tampons are not left in too long while the patient sleeps. Immediate reporting of any signs or symptoms is important in order to prevent permanent damage to the pelvic organs.
