The Read Mode is new to Word 2013. What is the purpose of Read Mode, and how would you describe the view? According to the text, why is it that you do NOT need Adobe Reader to open a PDF?

Read Mode is designed to facilitate reading and comprehension. It presents a document in a full-screen reading view, with text often cascading into magazine-like columns. You can double-click an object to enlarge it. Because Word 2013 has a new feature that will open PDFs, you do not need Adobe Reader to do so.
