What would happen of the coronary vessel were inside the heart.  The significace of atrial contraction from top to bottom. What would happen if the atria would haveconteacted from the cotton to the top. In the same theme why is it important that ventricles contract from bottom to top.

It is advantageous because the pulmonary artery and the aorta lead upward and away from the ventricles. Since the ventricles contract from the bottom, blood is more efficiently pushed out of the heart. Remember, the blood leaves the chambers at the top. Try squeezing all the toothpaste out of a toothpaste tube by pushing down end with the hole. Not very effective. If you squeeze from the flattened end much more of the toothpaste will come out much more efficiently.
