A patient who is breathless and pulseless has a nitroglycerine patch on his chest. Before using an AED, what should the EMR do?
a. Provide CPR only; do not defibrillate.
b. Place both AED pads immediately adjacent to the patch.
c. Remove the patch and wipe off medication.
d. Place one AED pad directly on top of the nitro patch.
