If a person learns & plays a musical instrument - Western or Indian, and if there is a gap of 8 years, where the person has not remain in touch with the musical instrument which he/she had learnt, in that case, do you feel which could be most likely answer?

1 Able to play the musical instrument as effectively as before 8 years.
2 Will not be able to play the musical instrument at all after 8 years.
3 Will be able to play the musical instrument but with only 50% correctness.

The good news is that once you learn an instrument, you develop "muscle memory". When you repeat movements over and over again, you can quickly relearn what you forgot. However, 8 years is a long time! It's almost like starting from scratch...
