As evidence of racism in classification systems, Johann Blumenbach (1752-1840):
 
  a. threw out the Linnaean classification system.
  b. judged the ideal type of human skull to be from sub-Saharan Africa.
  c. believed that Caucasians were closer to the original ideal humans.
  d. classified Europeans and Sub-Saharan Africans together.
  e. Blumenbach was the only 18th scholar to avoid a racist classification system.
