There are two solutions separated by a semipermeable membrane. Solution a is 0.3 M glucose, and solution b is 0.15 M NaCl. Will there be a net flow of water across this membrane? Why or why not?

water will move from the .15M side to the .3M side

the .15M side has a low concentration of solute compared to the opposite side, therefore a high concentration of water

the .30M side has a high concentration of solute compared to the opposite side, there fore a low concentration of water

water moves from high concentration of water to low concentration, or from the .15 side to the .30 side
