Premature closure of the epiphyseal plates could be caused by
A) high levels of vitamin D3.
B) too much calcium in the diet.
C) elevated levels of sex hormones.
D) too little thyroxine.

No, I think it must be the D.
As we know, the sex hormones would increase the absorption of Calcium to the bones. So the C couldn't be the answer.
The D, tyroxine is a grow-hormone, so with the little thyroxine will cause premature closure of the epiphyseal plates.
