The client reports frequent use of acetaminophen (Tylenol) for relief of frequent headaches and other discomforts. The nurse should evaluate which of the diagnostic data to determine if the client is at risk for toxicity?

Rationale: In adults, overdose of acetaminophen causes liver damage. In addition, clients with liver disorders are at higher risk of experiencing hepatotoxicity with chronic acetaminophen use. The chest x-ray, the upper gastrointestinal x-ray results, and the electrocardiogram are not associated with acetaminophen overdose.
