Write out the balanced equation for the reaction that occurs when Ca and NaCl react together. You do not need to make your subscripts smaller; just write them out at regular numbers. For example: H2O.

Ca and NaCl don't react.

May be you're talking about HCl?

Ca(s) + 2HCl(aq) ------> CaCl2(s) + H2(g)

it wil not react.. Na is more reactive than Ca . Ca cannot displace Na.

for one thing Ca is a metal and NaCl is a salt, a salt and a metal donot react together and secondly Na is more reactive than Ca ,so even if a single displacement is possible between a salt and a metal Ca will not replace Na!
