Two simple reflex arcs

Description
In the two-neuron reflex are, the stimulus is transferred from the sensory neuron directly to the motor neuron at the point of synapse in the spinal cord.

Diencephalon Composed of:Thalamus, Hypothalamus and Epithalamus.

Cerebellum
Brainstem Contains: Midbrain, Pons and Medulla oblongata.
10 of 12 pair of cranial nerves originate in brain stem.

Spinal Cord Protected by: Meninges, Cerebrospinal fluid and Vertebrae.

Reflexes:
Stimulus-response activity of the body
Fast, predictable, unlearned, innate, & involuntary reactions to stimuli
