Anatomy of a Hurricane

Description
The center of a hurricane is a low-pressure area of warm, calm air, called the eye. It is surrounded by a band of thunderstorms that form the eye wall. As warm, moist air spirals inward toward the eye wall and rises, it begins to cool and its moisture condenses into rain.
