Description
How an earthworm moves through the soil. Muscles act on coelomic fluid in individual body segments, causing the segments to change shape. A segment narrows when circular muscle ringing it contracts and longitudinal muscle running its length relaxes. The segment widens when circular muscle relaxes and longitudinal muscle contracts.
