The accelerated genes in the lineage with their own trees were considered to be true accelerated genes for the calculation of PPV, sensitivity, and specificity. The positive predictive value (PPV), which is defined as the proportion of predicted positives that are positive, varied from 0.17–0.98 among gene trees.
